Google announces new features of GOOGLE ASSISTANT in MWC 2019



Google assistant is Google powered AI-powered virtual assistant that is a better form of their previous assistant, that was called, Google Now. In GSMA Mobile World Congress(MWC), 2019, one of the biggest announcement made by Google is of its virtual assistant. Google explained it very clearly that to their assistant they are very ambitious and are constantly working on it to make it better than ever. These features include support for various languages, accessibility from various applications and it's accurateness.

Voice typing support to KaiOs
Google is working to make its assistant available to numerous operating systems. Although it was and it is supporting KaiOs from a long time but Google needs to add some extra features to make it eye-catching. KaiOs is a light weight operating system that runs on low end devices providing 4G LTE and wifi connectivity on phones running on this OS. As typing on these phones is not associated easy as smartphones, so Google planned to equip it with Voice typing. Surly it would be a great help to the users.

Google's assistant integration with messaging
Google is making support of its assistant to text messaging by embedding it to conversations. It will help users to quickly share or find information by sending them suggestions. Google have been working on this feature from a long time and now they finally announced it in MWC 2019.

More Indic languages- step to gather more audience
Google's addition of languages like French, Italian, Japanese, German was a great move to attract and help people speaking native languages. Now Google took it too far to add Indian local languages like Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali etc. as a step to help local people to explore assistant easily. As because Google added Hindi in assistant a time ago, it has gathered a far more better popularity in India.

It is focusing of becoming multilingual on adding languages across the world so that it can stand on top of other assistants.

Other supports
Google is also aiming to assist smartphones like of Nokia and LG to have a dedicated Google assistant's button to have things more simplified and also it will have its virtual button in Google Maps application.

Thus Google is ambitious with its assistant and is doing more and more changes to make it no. 1 in the race of assistants. Now Siri must give its fans a bunch of stuff to make it to the top. But now users would be getting a way better experience as promised by Google and a lot more by Android users 😎.
